And all of a sudden I got a sudden and huge craving For Hunger Games/SG-1 crossover fanfic....

Where Panem is NOT on Earth or in the future but on a planet our favorite team gates to (every member of SG-1 ever please...minus Jonas, of course, better yet haha put Jonas in the Games!)

I'd so totally read the everlovin' crap outta that!! and beg for sequels!!!!!! No mesh fics please!

PS. President Snow or President Coin (one or both!) as a Snake please!!!!

In a way I'm glad they canceled the third Stargate SG-1 movie. If only for the fact that they can't, in canon, say that Vala is no longer a part of the team and she resigned from the SGC so she could stay with the now-former Ba'al clone (It was always a fear of mine that they would do something like that to write her off) because Claudia wasn't coming back to do it (I was hoping that Ben wouldn't either)

Not that I don't like Ben, I like Ben, it's just he wouldn't fit in canon-wise in my head I was hoping that because they didn't have Vala it would be because the 3rd SG-1 movie would take place before they...er Daniel... met her. In my head it was the only thing that made sense AND brought RDA back, even if just temporarily.

So yeah I'm THAT devoted to my OTP Daniel/Vala if she ain't there I'm not watching it. That was basically deciding factor in all this

None of this was confirmed by anyone mind you, it was just my worst SG-1 fears mind you.

SG-1 without Vala to means Pre-season 9 anything else, to me, is horse-puckey. Ah I wouldn't loved to see more of Claudia as Que-tesh mind you. She was wonderfully nasty. The BEST Goa'uld villian there had ever been, outside of Ra of course.

Now off to make myself a quick dinner before Criminal Minds comes on.

If this song doesn't remind me of D/V I don't think anything will....I came across it while watching the last episode of Moonlight on the SciFi channel (Nope not calling it that stupid re-spelling)
IMO this song could be from Daniel's POV.

HAH! ol' Doctor Brightman is stuck on the Destiny...so that's where she's at! (Post-Jant but Pre-Carolyn)

I never seem to finish fics anymore I guess it's because I always run myself ragged whenever I do work on one and just give up. But I'm working on something now, it's in the experimental stages and I'll say little about it except that it's SG-1 and it takes place after Continuum and after Sam leaves for Atlantis (I hate writing her anyway).

I don't really have a plot in mind yet but I'll take it easy to see where it takes me. And yes I'll try my best for Daniel/Vala-ness. No crossovers this time but SGU? SGU doesn't exist yet (nor will it ever) so don't get you hopes up where that's concerned.

Nothing much else to say for now.

So I was listening to a few GateWorld podcasts (which are really disappointing let me tell you!) and they got me in a Gate-y mood, to be more specific a Daniel/Vala mood and so I opened up my Daniel & Vala playlist and thought I'd share them (30 songs!) and my thoughts or lyrics that suit them. To save your sanity they're all under the cut!

I wish someone would write a fic where Daniel gets caught in a "Window of Opportunity"-like time loop where he and only he gets caught in a time loop. Post-Continuum is preferable. The purpose? The deal with his issues with Vala Ending with those two together at last. Who's to say Daniel doesn't give in once or twice to Vala's advances before admitting to himself he loves her (no one can convince me otherwise) and then by trail and error (all the while trying to learn of a way to get out of his time-looping predicament) trying to find out if Vala has feelings for him as well (of course she does!) And who's to say that a similar situation (like in Unending) didn't happen while Daniel was looping before he realized just how much he cares for her Why none of the D/V writers out there haven't come up with a story similar to this yet is beyond me.

Oh and one other thing..the SGU series and the "Destiny" don't exist. The 9th chevron is used for something else entirely (not needed in the fic, but hey it's my idea and if I say it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, lol!)

For all of those unaware, or haven't yet watched it, Stargate:The Ark of Truth will be airing on SciFi Friday night (Tonight!) at 9 p.m. EST. Please check your local TV listings for the correct time in your area if you're interested.

It may not be BSG but I love it just the same. If I'd known about this ahead of time I wouldn't have watched it on DVD a few nights ago. Ah well, it won't hurt me to watch it again so soon *glee*

For the past few days an inkling of a fic has slowly generated itself in my mind (oddly enough this song has helped when I'm writing it, I suppose it may have something to do with the D/V music video I found for it but the lyrics are so damn catchy... and dud thats a GUY singing that WTF??? I found a Daniel/Vala music video lately and I swear I must've played it at least 20 times already, heheh. Have I mentioned I'm a huge D/V shipper? lol Anyway posteing the lyrics to the song so I don't have to look for them when I want to see/read them. I swear I get the goofiest grin on my face whenever I see that video, must be why I watch it so much eh??

Also considering a SG1 fic with two original characters (God forbid not a Mary Sue-type thing, main female character may have a bit on a crush on Daniel but nothing more OFC may just hook up with OMC so..... yeah lol.

I've also got the feeling that Jack (although he's never met Vala, that I'm aware of) may actually like Vala a lot. Heh. As she's sort of the...female him ..only...space pirate-y.
