Because Daniel has had his share of supposed Gods, demanding to be worshiped. Especially ones that try constantly to take over his home galaxy and his homeworld, it's getting quite annoying!

Just because it reminds him of the time he was Ascended and was about to kick Anubis' ass (even though he'd never admit to remembering that bit of information...not even to Teal'c)

He's not always enthralled with the holidays, but this quirky little song brings out the friendly-Grinch in him. Putting up with everyones holiday cheer, while he's just happy with none at all. (even though he does buy presents for his closest friends)

He'd never admit to thinking of Vala or her advances on him - after she first stepped foot into the SGC. And whenever he does he thinks of this song (and he totally blames Cassie & Sam for getting him hooked on the Moulin Rouge soundtrack) he can't help but imagine Vala in one of those can-can outfits that were in the movie (he really must remember to kill Sam and Cassie for making him watch that movie in the first place)

Something of a Guilty pleasure, he loved the Tomb Raider movies, soley because of Angelina Jolie potrayal of Treasure Hunter, Lara Croft (Oh yes he's only just now realizing he has a thing for treasure hunters)
