forgottenbennetSo I was listening to a few GateWorld podcasts (which are really disappointing let me tell you!) and they got me in a Gate-y mood, to be more specific a Daniel/Vala mood and so I opened up my Daniel & Vala playlist and thought I'd share them (30 songs!) and my thoughts or lyrics that suit them. To save your sanity they're all under the cut!

These lyrics suit Vala well:

If not for one pesky little detail ( Vala stealing the Prometheus) it might've just been love at first site for Daniel.

I picked this song specifically because Daniel's knowledge of numerous languages and it's such a sweet song. I always imagine it in my mind that sometime after the final victory over the Ori and their armies the whole team and Jack went over to General Hammond's place for a victory party. And sometime at night Vala wanders off the a field following a few fireflies. Finds a tree to sit under and watches them. Daniel eventually finds her (he had wondered where she had gotten off to and hoped she hadn't found trouble and finds her under the tree. After watching her for a few moments he joins her asking her what she's doing and she tells him. And of course, in my mind they talk and things evolve from there. Who know I may make a fic out of it one day. I had to stop myself from writing one here and now, heh.

Because Vala wants to take it to the next level but Daniel resists every time. Thinking that he may not like what he finds once he gives in to her.

Well duh! This is another song that plays in my head when those two crazy kids realize. 'Wow, my life really does suck without him/her.' In a sort of how did I let him/her get under my skin? They still drive each other nuts, but they wouldn't have it any other way.

This is so Vala
