After hours of frustration and hair-pulling, on both occupants behalf. I've finally made my first order since I've had to remove Mom's credit card this past December (due to the fact that someone in New York tried to use my Mother's credit card # tr a Radio Shack to charge $1,300 worth of stuff on a card with a $1,000 limit! Fortunately enough for her it didn't go through but it was enough of a scare for her to tell me to remove her cc # on my Amazon and iTunes accounts (for which I can only use gift cards now)
Anyway the point is that I turned in a bunch of change I had saved to a coinstar machine in order to get a Amazon gift certificate (those suckers are hard to find elsewhere) to pay for a few things I've had my eyes on for a while:
"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance - Now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem!"
Jane Austen & Seth Grahame-Smith - $10.15
"Tank Girl: Original Soundtrack from the United Artists Film"
Various Artists - $7.99
"Battlestar Galactica: Season 3"
Bear McCreary -$14.49 (Woo! I can't wait when Season 4 is released. Although, this'll be the first one I'll own.)
Now I have owned the Tank Girl soundtrack before
years ago. 1995 to be exact It was one of my most beloved cassettes ever ...(next to the New Kids that is) and when I outgrew cassette players and found my love of CD players (fun fact my first music CD ever was the soundtrack to "
D2: The Mighty Ducks" which I have since, sadly, lost.) It is next to impossible to find most of the music featured on this soundtrack (as I have found out since last night) I had only ever seen the soundtrack for sale by second hand retailers and 99.9% of the time it was more than I could afford so when I saw it last night on Amazon for $7.99. I knew I had to pounce while they still had them or I knew that the chance of ever finding them again could be slim.
While I was at it I also order two things I'd been coveting. P&P&Z (I'm a fan of both....or at least Resident Evil movies) and I wanted it badly enough. I mean Who, out of curiosity, would not want to read what is essentially
The Sisters Bennett: Zombie Slayers?
*cackles*And the last? Well I trust I need no explanation there...
Also I have bought, on DVD the whole Moonlight series. I hope to buy on Friday the AU Star Trek collection, If for no other reason than the fact I love seeing my boys Sisco, O'Brien and Bashir in old school Trek uniform for their "Trouble with Tribbles role (Ohhh goodness I love them so) And for the Record Enterprise and DS9 are tied for First, favorite Treks, with TNG as a distant second spot.
Speaking of trek I can't wait for the new movie. Especially Karl Urban as Boned *drools* I've had a soft spot for that boy ever since he played Cupid and Caeser in Hercules and Xena respectively. My GOD I loved him as Eomer and he was the ONLY reason I bought that God Awful
Ghost Ship. Oww! What a cruel way to go. *squick* (although the opening sequence was both horrifying and cool all at once)
