So for the past week or so I've been reading the Percy Jackson novels (first time ever) and now just tonight I finished book #4. And NOW I'm in Percy Jackson withdrawal until I can buy the fifth book on Saturday. Augh!
Speaking of Percy Jackson did ya know that instead of starting out as 12 year old as in the first book, Percy in the movie is going to be 17?! I can kinda see why. I mean first of all look who's directing, Chris Columbus! The guy did the first two Harry Potter movies, I guess he didn't want to have to worry (my theory) about the kids aging faster than they could film the movie(s?) based on the novels. I'm not saying it's a bad idea and it definitely (Damnit I hate that word! I always misspell it before I resort to a proper spellchecker) would not have worked for the Potter series. But I could kinda see Hogwarts as a 7 year (heh) college after they learn basic magic at some primary and/or secondary school before going to more advanced magic at Hogwarts. :p
Anyway as for PJ I'm surprised that Sean Bean is playing Zeus! I thought he didn't want to do anymore American movies.
Yeah I know my idea sucks but hey my brain is usually dried up this time of night anyway.
