No news is good news I think.
Nov. 1st, 2011 08:29 pmSo the lady who runs the hearing aid center said she would call Monday or Tuesday (today) to let us know if it can't be fixed. Well the business days have come and gone and so I guess it can be fixed!
While I'm here I'm gonna list THE best soundtracks I've ever laid ears on. I highly commend them even if you've never seen (or liked) their movies.
-Romeo + Juliet (1997)
-Queen of the Damned (2002)
-Pride & Prejudice (2005)
-Marie Antoinette (2006)
-Twilight soundtracks (Twilight,New Moon, Eclipse) I don't know yet if I'll like the Breaking Dawn Part 1 as a while as of yet but "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri is just gorgeous!)
-Batman by Prince (the only Prince album I own and I LOVE it)
-Batman Forever
-Batman & Robin
-Stardust (2007) (So damned beautiful!)
-Super Mario Brothers (yes the movie) I loved the movie and the soundtrack, Wow it doesn't get any awesomer (Also it was my first exposure to John Leguizamo)
(Trivia: Did you know the song Almost Unreal by Roxette was originally written for Hocus Pocus?)
-A Knight's Tale (This lovely movie gets a lot of awful flack but I love it and the music. And when I first saw this movie in theaters it made me fall in love a little with Heath Ledger.
-Stargate (1994) (Well DUH! Of course it's gonna make this list!)
and lastly but not leastly
-Dirty Dancing (I highly recommend the 20th anniversary version of the soundtrack!
So yes , you may not like the Twilight books or movies but give the soundtracks a shot. You'll be pleasantly surprised, I think.
