Kindle Yay and Nay!
Mar. 1st, 2011 02:29 pmI love it when Amazon has free Austen-esque (meaning based off her stories) eBooks! I just got Darcy's Voyage. Hmmm maybe I should go out to McDonald's later today to get my Kindle to sync up so I can read it (but not before I finish Red Riding Hood, by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright and David Leslie Johnson, non eBook because I found it cheaper at WalMart than on Kindle)
I organized my kindle books last night, deleted ones I've decided that I'll never read (they were all free anyway) and damn if it didn't take all night. I mean you can only do it one at a time and then the page refreshes itself! Meaning you have to start again on page one and have to make your way back to the page you wish to delete whichever story you want to delete! That's not even counting the time it took waiting for the page to refresh because the screen froze at times!
Just a bloody mess. Which is why I'm more careful now in how many free books I buy willy-nilly!
