forgottenbennet: (PPZ)
Reading "Dawn of the Dreadfuls" (prequel to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) which was released yesterday and after 5 chapters I'm stopping for now (not that I want to) to take in a couple of laps over at the track over at the local soccer fields. It's about 66 degrees and it's nice enough for a walk. then once I return home I'll resume reading while I wait for the rest of the "Celebrity Skin" album to finish downloading (I suppose my love of "Drown Soda", "Violet" and their cover of "Gold Dust Woman" is to blame for the purchase)
forgottenbennet: (Mary Bennet -Talulah Riley)
With any luck by this time tomorrow I'll be reading Dawn of the Dreadfuls, the "prequel" novel to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I don't care what so many Austen bloggers (meaning the most of the Austen blogs out there, not just the one with the AB name) I thoroughly enjoyed PPZ, and PPZ: TDE (The Deluxe Edition) I can't wait to get my paws on dawn of the Dreadfuls. The way I see it I think Jane herself would be quite amused at the Austen Monster mashers (what I call the "crossovers").

Now Wal-Mart has been stocking the Quirk Classics books ever since PPZ became a huge bestseller. So I'm hoping that DotD will be there tomorrow, or not I will not be pleased!

And of course I do wish that there were more novels about Mary Bennet (as a sort of sequel to P&P) that appealed to me, so far I've not seen a one that has truly piqued my interest. *grumbles*
