Did that seriously just happen?
To me?
I got a DM on twitter a few hours ago, which I didn't see 'til about an hour or so ago, from a book publicist wanting to send me a copy of PRIDE AND PROMETHUS (!!!) in exchange for a review to be posted on my twitter and instagram on the release date (February 13, 2018). Oh boy I've never had a deadline before *keels over*
They're sending out copies of the ARC(?) later this week and I CAN'T WAIT!!
Have I mentioned it stars Mary Bennet (who's ElizabethBennet Darcy? I don't have a clue! *winks*)and Victor Frankenstein??
I first read the short story with the same name years ago and it NEVER left my mind and when I found out the author (John Kessel) was doing novel-length version I squealed with delight! And since I read that DM I haven't stopped squealing!
The very last time I got a free book in the mail it was the Star Wars EU novel in which CHEWIE GETS KILLED OFF BY A FREAKING MOON
Since I have to real place to put my review on twitter I think I'm going to post it here THEN link it to Twitter and the on instagram ( need wi-fi for that. So watch this space!!
The only thing better than me getting a copy of the Pride And Prometheus ARC would be getting a movie based on that books (Please gods of books and movies MAKE IT HAPPEN!!)
