Ever After: A Cinderella Connection

I'm very surprised no one had made this connection before now (best to my knowledge)

An observation/connection I've made about the movie:

Ever After: A Cinderella Story

Danielle's nice stepsister's name is Jacqueline (Bonus connection: has to wear a horse costume for the ball.)

Danielle has a best friend with the name of Gustave (who briefly gets to go to be ball dressed as a page to find Leonardo Da Vinci).

They've known her for the larger part of her life and know how horribly her wicked stepmother Rodmilla has treated her since her father's death but were helpless to do anything about it.

And then we have.....

Walt Disney's Cinderella (1950)

Cinderella has two mice friends with the names of Jaq and Gus who will always do their best try to help out their Cinderell-y (they both get their Cinderell-y to the ball with help from her Fairy Godmother).

I may flesh this out a bit more later
