Just STOP IT! NOW!

Just reached Chapter 7 of "The Queen of the Tearling" It's pretty good so far but I do wish the characters would stop beating us over the head with their "I don't believe in God. I don't believe in God! I don't believe in God!!!! And those who do are EVIL" routine. I mean there's just so much of that I can take without feeling overwhelmed by it.
