I think that my bookcase has been slowly planning a takeover. In other words it wants Jane Austen (or similar writers)! Lots of Jane Austen and related works.
These are the books it's craving right now...
Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte (awesome cover. I almost bought this book during my last stoop at the book store last month but instead picked up Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict. I bought the first books second hand ...in hardcover for like $3!)
Sense & Sensibility by Jane Austen
Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters by Jane Austen and Ben H. Winters
Jane Bites Back by Michael Thomas Ford
and lastly but lastly and despite my already having this book in the normal edition
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (Deluxe Edition)
And although the cover for this edition of Pride & Prejudice is Awesome I have 2 copied of it already #1 an Enriched Classic and #2 a 2005 movie edition. So as pretty as the cover is and no doubt the illustrations would be gorgeous I'll have to stop at two.
...That's not even counting Dan Brown's newest Robert Langdon novel coming out next month! The Lost Symbol
I guess I like both Monsters and Romance...That would explain my bookshelf full of Poe, Austen, Frankenstein, Mermaids,Vampires, Witches, Wizards, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, and Fairy tales *grins*
The Austen and Austen related books I have are;
Pride and Prejudice (2 copies as mentioned above)
Northanger Abbey
Me and Mr. Darcy by Alexandra Potter
Darcy's Story by Janet Aylmer
Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler
Rude Awakenings of a Jane Austen Addict by Laurie Viera Rigler
Argh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to ramble on for so long. I get carried away when I talk about books!
