So as a treat for myself I cashed in my change that I'd been hoarding for months and took it to the nearest cashstar machine and dumped it in. Seeing as it was likely the only way I could use Amazon (change in exchange for an amazon gift certificate in the same amount as the change I'd just dumped in) So with that I went home and hopped onto the internet and then to Amazon

I knew exactly what I was getting.

I had just ordered early in the week a copy of the "The Three Musketeers" soundtrack (I love that movie...especially Porthos!) I'd been coveting it for YEARS and there was a slightly used copy of it on amazon for 79 cents and about $3 S&H so I got it. Leaning me a hoppy and skippy mess (in a good way)

Fast forward to yesterday and $38 worth of change. When I got home yesterday after my haircut (Eeeeeee I actually have bangs again! Not to mention this is the shortest my hair has been in years!) Anyway, once I got home and got on the internet I zipped over to Amazon to put a copy of the "Robin Hood : Prince of Thieves" soundtrack into my cart (Eeeee The only soundtrack I've wanted longer than "The Three Musketeers"!) and I tossed in a copy of the illustrated Stardust movie companion as well.

All are apart of what I'm considering as an early birthday present to me. They're all being shipped from different sellers and I won't receive them all at one, but Im hoping to receive at least one before my birthday (Monday!) So here's me keeping my fingers crossed.

Usually I'm not a country music except for a couple of exceptions (Garth Brooks and the Dixie Chicks) and random country songs (This Kiss by Faith Hill but that's the only song of hers I like. Also I was a fan of Shania Twains for a while but there was something I read a while back in an interview she did. Something I totally disagree with and it lowered my opinion and respect for he and thus as a result I haven't bought a single CD of hers since that interview.)

Okay lets put it this way I'm more a fan of Rock and/or Pop than I am of country but there comes a country song once in a while that I absolutely adore. This was not the case when I discovered Sugarland. All I knew of it was that they had recently released their new CD "Love on the Inside" a year ago and while I was at the beach. I don't know what I decided to buy it , maybe I'd read one or two glowing reviews, I don't really remember. But when we stopped by the wal-mart in Myrtle Beach for something (I myself went looking for a birthday card for my Aunt, who would be having her birthday at the beach. At that point I'd talked myself into buying the CD when I got home but I came across a music display very near the registers so I snagged a copy pf the Deluxe Fan Edition, very narrowly I might add missing my Aunt and Mom who had just finished paying for their purchases. And as I didn't have anything to play it on right then I didn't get to listen to it until I got home. Only I didn't...not really. I tried to listen to it once but at the time I couldn't get into it.

Until almost exactly a year later. a few days ago to be exact. I found the disc again while cleaning my room buried withing the deep and dark confines of my amoire desk. I ripped it onto iTunes and well... that's where my love for Sugarland began. So much so I bought their first two albums today and will be buying their live album/DVD when it hits Wal-mart on Tuesday (the day after my birthday.

Now I just gotta remember that 1-hour councert that airs monday night. I'm sure it'll be amazing.
