I had mom drive me to the nearest bookstore, (well the nearest one that sold Star Wars novels dumb Sam Goody here in town stopped selling books grrrr) which is in Johnson City (Books-A-Million)
I went there to look for the X-Wing novels (BTW I only got the first four) and I doing my sweep back to the the front of the store to pay for them when I saw "Confessions of an Ugly Step-sister" by that guy who wrote "Wicked". I grabbed that and I went a little further and low and behold ..."The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova caught my eye.
There was no comparasion (stupidspell check, I can't spell this word but you know what I mean). As much as I love every kind of Cinderella story there is. I put it down and grabbed "Historian" instead. It's a book I've been wanting to read forever but I've never had "adequate funds" enough to get it and thanks to moms tax refund combined with my paycheck I got it!
I also bought Saw: Uncut Edition( spoiler ). I"m almost afraid to ask what was cut from the movie. But YAY All those neat-o special features my original DVD didn't have!
