"Head over Feet "Part 2 (completed)
Dec. 4th, 2005 09:11 pmNote that the "Starfish and Stick" is from Jo's "Quidditch though the Ages" (on page 54 for those who are curious). Yes I'm aware that its a Keeper defense but I imagine thats the way Cedric looked after he caught (or rather tries to) Harry with one arm)
"Starfish and Stick":
Keeper defense; the keeper holds the broom horizontally with one hand and one foot curled around the handle, while keeping all limbs outstreched (see Fig. G). The Starfish Without Stick should never be attempted.

Rating. I'm not sure what to call it but I'm guessing no one below 13 or 14 to read this, but for the moment the fic is pretty tame. I'm merely borrowing them for a while. And don't worry I'll get more into the Cedric/Harry loving soon enough, heh. I just had to set the stage (so to speak).
"Head over Heels" Part 2
Cedric awoke with a yelp as Madame Pomfrey had magically popped his left arm back into place causing him to sit up with a jerk. "Ohhhh, that was a bad idea." he moaned softly as Poppy pushed him carefully back into the bed "Oh no you don't, Diggory. You're staying put until I say so. It'll be sometime tomorrow, I expect, before you'll be able to get out of bed." He wanted to tell her that he thought that was a wise choice, but the throbbing in his head and arm discouraged him from speaking at the moment. He instead though half-open eyes looked around the bustling hospital wing. Pomfrey had now turned her attention towards Harry, who happened to be in the bed beside his own at the moment surrounded by his friends and fellow team members , who were talking amongst themselves over Harry's bed.
