Ever since I went on a belated birthday trip to JC a few weeks ago. I bought a book that had piqued my interest for sometime now. And now I only wish I could but the sequels immediately. I have a weird sort of thing for vampires (or books rather (Anne Rice failed to really interest me past QotD and Pandora) SO I picked up, on a whim, Mary Janice Davidson's Undead and Unwed. OMG that was exactly what I needed lol. I'd been reading too many "Oh Woe is ME" vampire books, (Don't get me wrong I'll always love TVL and QotD) But I needed something different and a bit more upbeat. What I need(ed) is brain candy.

thebookyoucrew members (or any other book rating community for that matter) say. It never hurts to just let yourself go and read something completely fluffy. It won't kill you, it'll make you laugh til you cry from utter silliness from the while thing, and you may just even enjoy the story as well. I plan on going back to JC myself next week where I'll be searching for Undead and Unemployed and any of the other sequels it has out there. Will probably snap up Derik's Bane (werewolf romance, I think) while I'm at it as well.
