qotd_movie, vc_icons? One very simple reason, Queen of the Damned Movie Bashers, not to mention the fact I'll be flamed for loving the movie in any other community, and yes I have read the book before the seeing the movie. In fact I read it just before IwtV came out and have it multiple time since then. In fact it was my first VC book So I'm a Jesse/Lestat shipper because of that book (to an extent) and QotD the film just enforces it.
People hate it mostly for the cosmetic reasons only. People don't see past the look and feel of the movie. The decide to hate it even before the see it. The don't see it at its heart, which in my feelings is essentially same to the Book.
In other words to all you QotD film bashers out there you can. . . .
