In a way I'm glad they canceled the third Stargate SG-1 movie. If only for the fact that they can't, in canon, say that Vala is no longer a part of the team and she resigned from the SGC so she could stay with the now-former Ba'al clone (It was always a fear of mine that they would do something like that to write her off) because Claudia wasn't coming back to do it (I was hoping that Ben wouldn't either)

Not that I don't like Ben, I like Ben, it's just he wouldn't fit in canon-wise in my head I was hoping that because they didn't have Vala it would be because the 3rd SG-1 movie would take place before they...er Daniel... met her. In my head it was the only thing that made sense AND brought RDA back, even if just temporarily.


So yeah I'm THAT devoted to my OTP Daniel/Vala if she ain't there I'm not watching it. That was basically deciding factor in all this


None of this was confirmed by anyone mind you, it was just my worst SG-1 fears mind you.

SG-1 without Vala to means Pre-season 9 anything else, to me, is horse-puckey. Ah I wouldn't loved to see more of Claudia as Que-tesh mind you. She was wonderfully nasty. The BEST Goa'uld villian there had ever been, outside of Ra of course.


Now off to make myself a quick dinner before Criminal Minds comes on.

I never seem to finish fics anymore I guess it's because I always run myself ragged whenever I do work on one and just give up. But I'm working on something now, it's in the experimental stages and I'll say little about it except that it's SG-1 and it takes place after Continuum and after Sam leaves for Atlantis (I hate writing her anyway).

I don't really have a plot in mind yet but I'll take it easy to see where it takes me. And yes I'll try my best for Daniel/Vala-ness. No crossovers this time but SGU? SGU doesn't exist yet (nor will it ever) so don't get you hopes up where that's concerned.

I think I've finally kicked my own ass enough and started working on the "Iron Maiden" series again. By the time I quit, despite my ideas, I was burnt out on Iron Man. So now I'm giving it another shot. I even have IM in my DVD-Rom as we speak. I can't make any promises except that I will try to have a possible Part 4 up as soon as I can. I still have quite a bit of it on one way or another so it wouldn't be too difficult to finish it up. I maybe skipping around the movie and book a bit from now on but it will be in chronological order unless stated otherwise.

I found a Daniel/Vala music video lately and I swear I must've played it at least 20 times already, heheh. Have I mentioned I'm a huge D/V shipper? lol Anyway posteing the lyrics to the song so I don't have to look for them when I want to see/read them. I swear I get the goofiest grin on my face whenever I see that video, must be why I watch it so much eh??

Also considering a SG1 fic with two original characters (God forbid not a Mary Sue-type thing, main female character may have a bit on a crush on Daniel but nothing more OFC may just hook up with OMC so..... yeah lol.

I've also got the feeling that Jack (although he's never met Vala, that I'm aware of) may actually like Vala a lot. Heh. As she's sort of the...female him ..only...space pirate-y.
