Nov. 8th, 2011 03:02 amWell I did it! I finally managed to read, from cover to cover in near record time for me, "A Lion Among men" I first bought the book a few years ago. I heartily dove into it but it was going so slowly at first that I just gave it up.
Now with "Out of Oz" just being released I though I'd give it another go. Read the first 3 books back to back to back (I guess I started about two weeks or so before the release date for "Out of Oz". I guess OoO not being at Walmart was a sort of small blessing. I think I might have given up ALAM again to read the new book.
But yes I did manage to read ALAM all the way through (a first for me) Once I got to a certain point , it went from a crawl to a healthy trot and at time a full gallop.
Now I know, at long last, what Yackle really was (well, to an extent) That was really the one thing I wasn't spoiled for. I was so totally WTF TIA! (This Is Awesome!) So now I have time to kill in waiting for Amazon to send me my copy of OoO (due Wed. for me).
I CAN'T WAIT! I WANT IT NOW!!!
