Since I started losing weight (yo-yoing between 33-35 pounds lost I've not yet reached below 200 but I'm just a couple of pounds or so away from doing it. I became frustrated with my over abundance of now baggy clothes so Mom took pity on me and took me clothes shopping.


In quick succession we found some cute (but extremely cheap!) clothes! I found a pair of awesome jeans for $3! (not a typo!)The legs are a bit long but those can be hemmed or trimmed. An equally awesome eggplant purple t-shirt (for $5) and a carnation pink sleeveless top (for $4), a lovely crinkly and flowy raspberry-ish top (for ($12)and lastly but not leastly a lovely pair of knee-length shorts with butterfly's on both back pockets (for $14).


And once I got home and re-tried everything on again I dug around in my closet for a pair of short I'd barely word before I outgrew them a few years ago or so but now It's like having another pair of brand new shorts. Oi I've got to get off my butt and start losing again. I'm in a little bit of a rut but once I get going again I'll lose more weight in no time flat. I think what slowed me down a little is Dad being in the car accident with the visits to the hospital and now to the nursing home (where he's receiving therapy but still totally loopy from the pain meds (I'd rather not talk about that. *shudders*)

It's thrown me off a bit but hopefully I can start a new routine of my *off* days (meaning the days I don't visit Dad) of walking either late morning or early afternoon. I don't really have a weight loss goal beyond *get below 200* but I guess I could aim at minimum for 190 and take it from there on. Oh god, I hope I don't slip into my old routine again. I don't want to be 235 ever again (or heavier!)
