If only I knew the canon a bit better...

While clearing up my room a little a couple of nights ago an idea for a crossover fic popped into my head. I'm not going to write it because I don't know the canon as well as I'd like.

The idea? A Firefly/Titanic crossover! I have the idea all there in my head but I don't dare start it because I'm afraid I'll mangle Firefly canon beyond all recognition! basically the Titanic event of 1912 never happened and Jack and Rose meet on the Luxury starship Titanic. The crew pull a heist on the Titanic ....yep you guessed of for "The Heart of the Ocean" which they KNOW is on the ship (I don't know who hired them but I have a couple of different ideas) They meet Jack and Rose, a disaster happens on the Titanic, (which I don't have a clue really as to what) but both Jack and Rose live at the end Rose faking her death, and Jack and Rose end up on the Serenity as a part of the crew or traveling to another world but the both live and have the diamond in the possession.


The Serenity crew either does or doesn't realize it (to everyone who knew about the diamond on the Titanic that survived though it was destroyed for some reason or another) depends on whether or not Jack and Rose stay on Serenity for a while or not.



Yeah I COULD write this but I don't have the heart to but I would love to read this if I don't write it *sighs*
