Jun. 22nd, 2010 03:58 amAfter a few days of going though all my songs I've yet to come up with anything too original for one of my fictional couples ever (Tristan and Yvaine from Stardust the movie. I do love Tristran and Yvaine as well but I've only read the book completely once and listened to 1 and half times though Neil Gaiman's yummy voice audiobook reading and although I do adore the book the movie version of the couple is what's burned on my brain at the moment.) only 8 songs and two or three of those were in the movie itself! Argh!
1. Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On (I saw a video on youtube for the couple and I couldn't help putting it on this list)
2. Bon Jovi - Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars (Dare I say why?)
3. Rafael Kubelik & Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks - 8 Slavonic Dances, Op.46: No.6 in D (Allegretto Scherzando) (In the movie it's when both Captain Shakespeare and Tristan dance with Yvaine)
4. Nobuo Uematsu - Waltz for the Moon (So sue me I love this waltz from Final Fantasy 8) 5. Muse - Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) (As if the name and lyrics it wasn't obvious? lol)
6. Take That - Rule The World (Duh! Super obvious as it was written specifically for the film, although sadly not on the soundtrack.) 7. Muse - Supermassive Black Hole (I do think that Muse likes using space and star references in their songs! This one fits T/Y as well!)
8. The Afters - Beautiful Love (I got this song free once upon a time ((Legally!)) and I always thought it was a beautiful love song)
And now for something even smaller for Lestat/Jesse from the movie Queen of the Damned as it's rather hard to find songs that describe them so well.

3. Nickelback - Gotta Be Somebody
4. Jay Gordon - Slept So Long (Straight off the QotD soundtrack)
5. The Bravery - Ours
6. Battles - The Line
7. Underneath The Stars (Renholder Remix) (Feat. Maynard James Keenan/Puscifer And Milla) - The Cure
In other words 4 through 7 are from vampire movie soundtracks! hee.
